“I choose to not depict faces very often as anonymous subjects work well as surrogates for experiencing the kind of art I make.

I think this is important for the kind of work and style I work with as faceless subjects bring attention away from expression in the traditional sense and allow emphasis to be put onto posture, clothing, atmosphere and environment, which to me is much more interesting.”
